A library of two-dimensional orthogonal (rectangular) cutting and packing
benchmark instances and references, by Iori et al. (2022). It provides 2D bin
packing, strip packing, and orthogonal knapsack instances in a standard format,
making it a direct benchmark for 2D Bin Packing,
2D Strip Packing, and
2D Knapsack. For
2D Irregular Nesting, however, it is recorded
only as has_adjacent_benchmark: the packing methodology is related, but it
targets rectangles, not arbitrary polygons. Misclassifying it as a direct
nesting benchmark would be inaccurate.
