The special interest group on cutting & packing within EURO (the Association of European Operational Research Societies). It curates and distributes community data sets — notably the standard 2D Irregular Nesting instances that give a common basis for comparing reported results. Unlike 2DPackLib, which targets orthogonal packing, ESICUP's instances include arbitrary polygons (irregular), making it a direct benchmark for nesting — kept at evidence grade B as a community-maintained resource.
